Not every area grows at the same pace. Here's how often you should actually book, by area.
There's no single answer to "how often should I wax" because every area of the body has its own growth cycle. Here are real ranges so you can plan your appointments without guessing.
Hair grows in cycles (growth, rest, and shedding phases), and the speed of that cycle depends on the area, your genetics, and even your hormones. That's why your eyebrows grow differently than your legs, and why the ideal frequency isn't the same for your whole body.
Every 3-4 weeks. One of the fastest-growing areas. Staying in this range keeps the shape from drifting between sessions.
Every 3-4 weeks. Fine hair that grows quickly; frequent sessions keep the area consistently smooth.
Every 3-4 weeks. Fast-growing area; with consistent waxing you'll notice hair coming in sparser over time.
Every 4-6 weeks. Growth is slower than underarms or face. Many clients find they can space out appointments even further over time.
Every 4-5 weeks. Varies quite a bit by person, some need a touch-up before 4 weeks, others are fine until week 6.
Every 4-6 weeks. Similar to legs: slower growth, longer-lasting results.
Waxing before hair reaches the right length (at least 0.5 cm / a quarter inch) means wax won't grip it properly, leading to uneven results and a higher risk of ingrown hairs. Waiting too long isn't ideal either, the longer the hair, the more uncomfortable the session.
Something almost all regular clients notice: the more consistent you are with sessions, the more the follicle weakens, and the more you can space out appointments over time. The frequency you need at the start isn't the same you'll need after 6-8 months of regular waxing.
As a general rule, book your next appointment before you leave your current one. That way you're never too early (short hair) or too late (long, uncomfortable hair). We can fine-tune the exact schedule for your hair type at your appointment.
